Children’s Christmas Party

The closing date for booking your little ones into the Christmas party is November 7th 2018. Don’t miss out on a chance for them to enjoy party games and get a gift from Santa. 

The Christmas party is for 0-5 years and is being held at Gowerton Con Club on December 1st 2018 from 2pm until 4pm.

Booking slips are in your rally books and should be sent to Marie (Ladies Treasurer) 

Last call for Pantomime Tickets

The closing date for booking this years pantomime is November 9th 2018

This years panto is Jack and the Beanstalk and is being held at Theatre Ffwrnes Llanelli on January 26th 2018 at 2pm

Tickets are £6 for 6-11 year olds (not in comp) and £11 for adults/teens.

Greenhill school rally this weekend. The youth committee have decided that Saturday night for our flag we will have a fancy dress competition for all age groups yes even the adults. So don’t forget to bring your fancy dress . Also there will be a best pumpkin competition. The youth will be selling hotdogs on Saturday evening and a bonus ball, please can you support them if you can. On the second weekend of our Greenhill school rally there will be a Chinese auction (min £5), also hotdogs will be sold on Saturday evening

Our annual dinner dance, is again at the wonderful Marriott Hotel, Swansea on Saturday 2nd of February 2019.
The price will be £32.50 per person, including a 3 course meal and entertainment. 
If you fancy staying, a reduced room rate has been secured at £79.00, including breakfast based on two sharing.

There are some spaces on The Royal Bath and West Showground rally running from 16th to 18th November for the Glastonbury Festival of Lights if you wish to attend the rally please send your £10 deposit and if you wish to use the bus provided your £5 per seat (both non refundable) to Brian & Val Cosker phone number for address is in our hand book or online.

We would like to thank all the members who supported the 66th Welsh National hosted by the Gwent Centre.
Congratulations on winning the Inter Centre Cup I think you would all 
agree it was a fantastic weekend and puts us in great shape for our National in Brecon next year.
We hope to see you all in Brecon.

Is anyone interested in running next years rally for the festival of lights in Glastonbury? If so please contact Barbara (Rally Secretary) as without any volunteers this event will not be booked!

As members we would like to hear from you on the subject of future rallies, what preferences do you have? What would encourage you to do more weekends? Please contact a committee member to advise, contact details are on the committee page.

Summer Tea

Excellent Summer tea, by the ladies committee, next Ladies event is the Harvest Supper. Book early to ensure your place. Harvest Supper Booking Form

Also at the summer tea were two competitions. Winners were Barbara Small, cookery competition, sorry no photo, but a certain John cleared the plate. The floral competition was won by Juliet Campbell. Well done both.

Sports committee v Chairman’s select rounders match a very close fought (not) entertaining game which the Chairman’s team deservedly won 9 – 4 thank you all.

Congratulations to the Winner of the treasure hunt Mike Carter and family runner up was Valentino Amieni.

The winner of the owners improvement was a Jeff Adlam with a movable shelf for your cupboards with no fixings.

The winner of the boules competition were Jay Alan and Martin Bevan and the runners up were Adrian Thomas and Valentino Amieni (age 11).

Well done to everyone that entered all the competitions this weekend.

The Winners of the men’s reversing competition is first time rally goer Richard Bell in 1.07 seconds. Ladies winner is Tracy Bell in 1.40 seconds.

Bannerette winner’s are; adult is Elizabeth Campbell 

and youth is Kate Campbell .

The Winner of the three course BBQ meal was Mrs June Wilson.

Well done to everyone who braved the freezing temperatures to join in the Sports Committee 1k Fun Run. Winner was Sam Morgan followed by Grace Carro.
