The Bank Farm rally at Horton had a large number of members from a range of centres and also had 11 first time ralliers.

Through the course of the week a number of activities and events were put on for both adults and children.

Saturday started by putting up the marquee with the help of the regulars who know how it’s done which made it easier (even if Dean Otten got stuck in it).  That night a beach party was held with cocktails on arrival to get into the holiday spirit and for the children there was a sand pit and beach balls to keep them busy.

On Sunday there was fun fair games featuring Tin Can Alley, Hoopla, Darts & Hook A Duck for all the kids with prizes, hot dogs and drinks provided. The feedback from the kids was excellent and well worth the effort, so thank you.  In the night we were joined by Jimi Webb who entertained us with a range of songs from Michael Buble to Bay City Rollers at the request of one particular member.

During the week we had an adults Darts competition which was won by Dean Carro & John James.

The kids took part in Swingballdon which got very competitive.  The winners were Ava – Aged 4, Manon Aged 7 & Jack Aged 12.  That was then followed by a kids movie night showing Beauty & the Beast which was enjoy by the adults as well as the children.

Going into the weekend we had Irish Bingo and also a Dog Racing night which got people shouting and cheering on their dog which set the mood for Wales V South Africa which was shown in the marquee.

Kevin & myself would like to thank everyone who attended the rally and took part in the activities we had running over the course of the week as without the support it would not have been the success it was.  Finally we would like to thank everyone who help put up the marquee as without your help we wouldn’t have been able to do anything and also taking it down.  The ladies also cleaned the roofs ready for the next outing so thank you for your help and effort.

A big thank you again to all and we hope to see you all again soon,

Kevin & Rachel Carro, Judith & Richard James & Dean & Caroline Carro & Family
