Updates

Latest Guidance – The Centre has received a letter from CAMC Governance today (29th June) that we CANNOT hold any rallies in July. This affects all centres and is a nationwide directive due to the UK Government legislation. We are disappointed and miss all our members and meeting up on the rally field. As soon as we know more about rallies going forward we will let you know.

French Summer Holiday – The Marshalls have decided to cancel the Jard Sur Mer (18th July to 3rd August). Everyone booked on is aware of the decision. David and Helen are planning to rearrange the booking with Select Sites for around the same time next year.

Aberbran Fach – This venue is now full with a waiting list in operation. Could everyone who has booked please make full payment by 24th July.

This will now run for 10 nights from the 27th August to 6th September. There is an 80 outfit limit with limited metered EHU available. EHU will be prioritised to those people staying for 10 nights. Covid Secure Guidance for Rallies

CaMC has issued guidance (Covid Secure Guidance for Rallies) to all Centres to help advise them about how to enhance their procedures to ensure that they and their members are safe and well whilst on a rally, and that rallies are operated in line with Covid-Secure protocols. This means that the guidance is based on principles of minimal person-to-person contact, minimal common touch points and maintaining social distancing.

CaMC are still awaiting clarity from the Government about sites re-opening but has given Centres access to this document as soon as possible, in the knowledge that it may still be enhanced, so that Centres can start making preparations and thinking about how they might need to change the practices involved in running a rally.  This guidance will be kept under regular review and will be updated if and when the current situation changes.  The guidance must be followed in conjunction with the Government guidance in place at the time in each nation of the UK.

West Wales Centre Rallies will not recommence until advised by CaMC and the Welsh Government.
